Entries for the EEAA 2016 Awards for Excellence are now in and we thank Members who have presented their best work and people for scrutiny by industry peers. Good luck to all Award candidates. This year we've received 25 percent more entries - and this attests to the growing popularity of the awards.

All submissions are being assessed against the entry criteria. Entrants will receive a confirmation. Please keep an eye out for this email and contact the office on (02)9413 9520 if you have any questions.

We look forward to celebrating the industry's best talent at the International Convention Centre Sydney on Wednesday, 30 November.

Finalists will be announced on Friday, 28 October. Stay tuned.


The EEAA is pleased to announce television "foodie guru" Maeve O'Meara as the 2016 Awards for Excellence host.

Maeve takes to the stage to anchor our annual event that celebrates the achievements of our Members and acknowledges the talent, creativity and dedication they show for the Exhibition and Events industry.

Maeve O’Meara is the founder and director of one Australia’s best-loved and most successful food tour businesses, Gourmet Safaris. She is also an award-winning food and cookbook author, journalist, broadcaster and television producer and presenter. Maeve is passionate about the different cultures that make Australia’s food scene unique.

Maeve's will bring her own expertise to our industry's night of nights and her background in food, coupled with ICC Sydney's commitment to using fresh, seasonal, ingredients from across New South Wales, will make for an exciting way to celebrate the achievements of our sector.
