About the Role

Sydney’s much-loved Luna Park is a unique entertainment precinct on the Harbour foreshore. Our iconic venue combined with magical views of Sydney Harbour gives us a competitive edge; however, it is the amazing team behind this great icon who are paramount in creating memorable experiences for our guests such as keeping the Park and Function Venues sparkling and clean.

Can you:

Work both day and evening shifts
Work regular weekend shifts and public holidays.
Do you:

Have recent commercial cleaning experience?
Have clear communication skills?
Have high standards of personal presentation?
Are you:

Reliable and punctual?
Physically fit to undertake manual work and walk long distances around the grounds?
Your duties and responsibilities will include:

Perform park sweeping including car park and rides areas
Bathroom cleaning and floor mopping
Vacuuming
Cleaning of rides and sideshow games, and function facilities
Gurneying surfaces
Glass cleaning and polishing fixtures and fittings
Emptying and refreshing bins
Safe chemical handling and cleaning using chemicals
Ad hoc duties that may arise, as assigned by the Stewarding Manager and Shift Leaders
Essential requirements to be able to commence employment in these roles.

You must be willing to:

Obtain a Working with Children Check ( if 18+ yrs of age)
Be vaccinated for Hepatitis A & B

Luna Park Sydney is a world-class entertainment precinct which comprises of a four rollercoaster Amusement Park and 13 corporate event spaces including Amphora, a premium Wine Bar and Big Top,a 3,000-seat auditorium.

Built in 1935, Luna Park is Sydney’s oldest and most iconic Amusement Park and since 2010 has been listed on the NSW State heritage register.
The Luna Park Site is managed by the Luna Park Reserve Trust and since 2004, Luna Park Sydney PtyLtd has held a 40-year operating lease.

In January 2021, the Park closed temporarily to install 9 new rides making it one of the biggest Amusement Park upgrades in the world. Of course, the rides are the main attraction but there is so much more to be enjoyed including; Sideshow games, classic theme park food (fairy floss), entertainment from the Showtime team and special events such as Halloscream.
