About the Role
Reporting into the Sales Manager and working with a supportive and strong team, your focus will be on selling Exhibition space, Digital Advertising and Sponsorship across our portfolio of well-established and highly regarded B2B exhibitions. This role requires the ability to approach new potential customers, to open doors, establish rapport, gain a deep understanding of the potential customer’s needs and to then be able to advise and sell appropriate solutions. You will also be responsible for building pipeline and forecasting sales revenue. This role also places a large emphasis on customer service and developing strong and ongoing client relationships in a growing industry.
Responsibilities will include:
Achieving set financial targets
Build sales pipeline and forecast sales revenue
Developing an in depth understanding of the industry, the trends and market forces
Attending relevant industry related networking events
Developing positive relationship with all relevant industry associations and key governing bodies
Maintaining an accurate and up-to-date database
Liaising with industry associations to gather market intelligence on trends
2 years minimum in a similar role, strong business development and existing account growth experience
Strong background in creating and presenting a strong sales pitch with the ability to adapt to market feedback.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and CRM (Salesforce or similar)
The willingness to travel and work away from home when required, including on-site at events.
Experience in advertising, exhibition or event sales preferred but not essential
Valid Driver’s License
