Greg Chambers and Jim Delahunty, the owners of Exponet are pleased to announce that they have sold the business to Rocky Bruzzano, the current CFO of Exponet.
Rocky has been with the business for more than 30 years. He has been an integral member of the management team and has been instrumental in helping the business get through the devastating impacts of the pandemic over the past 2 years.
The highly regarded and experienced management team will remain in place with Rocky taking on the role of Managing Director.
Greg Chambers who started the business 40 years ago, is excited about the change and is very pleased that the business is now in the experienced hands of someone like Rocky who is part of the Exponet family. He said “Rocky has been part of our family for many years, he understands our culture and our team. He has many years of experience and a passion for the industry, I am confident about the future of the business under his leadership.”
Jim Delahunty will step down immediately as Managing Director but will assist with the transition over the next few months. Jim is well known in the exhibition industry and for many years has guided Exponet to become one of the major exhibition and event contractors in Australia. Jim said “this is a fantastic outcome for everyone. It is time for me to hang up my boots after 38 years, and I could not think of a more deserving person to take over the running of the business. I know Rocky and the management team will continue to work hard in rebuilding Exponet and delivering successful exhibitions and events for our clients into the future.”
