ICC Sydney has your holiday season entertainment all wrapped up

Whether you’re treating yourself, your friends or family this summer, International Convention Centre Sydney (ICC Sydney), managed by ASM Global, presents an extraordinary array of entertainment events to choose from at its iconic theatres.

ICC Sydney will stage 35 performances in the months ahead set to draw an estimated 125,000 visitors to enjoy a spectrum of events — from rock concerts to comedy, orchestral music performances to inspirational speakers and children’s classics.

This side of Christmas, Australia’s world class venue in the heart of Darling Harbour presents Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Songwriter’s Hall of Fame inductee Jackson Browne, electro trailblazers Kraftwerk, legendary live performer Harry Connick Jnr, the world’s most popular children’s entertainment group The Wiggles, and orchestral movie screenings The Holiday in Concert, and Love Actually in Concert before the year is through.

ICC Sydney CEO and Group Director – Convention Centres, ASM Global (APAC), Geoff Donaghy said that there are live entertainment events of every genre for every taste.

“Following a record breaking year of entertainment events – we have another sizzling calendar of events this Summer. The diversity of our shows ensures there is something for everyone and we are looking forward to continuing to warmly welcome guests to experience the best of entertainment across our venues.

“Give the gift of a live entertainment event experience this holiday season – creating memories to last a lifetime,” Mr Donaghy said.

Early in the new year, visitors will be dazzled by performances from globally acclaimed singer / songwriter and 7-time Grammy award nominee Ryan Adams, multi-platinum alt-pop phenomenon Melanie Martinez, Grammy-nominated and critically acclaimed California native Beth Hart as well as Fleetwood Mac by Candlelight and Queen by Candlelight.

Storyteller Kevin McCloud, and soldier turned SAS Australia star and best-selling author Ant Middleton will inspire audiences early in February and 'uplifting comedy king’ Russell Howard will bring the laughs.

March will see more big-name acts grace the stage with Grammy award winning Indie Folk band The National with special guest Fleet Foxes and Annie Hamilton. Music legend Tom Jones is making a long-awaited return to Australia on his ‘Ages & Stages’ tour in April. The 25th Anniversary production of Riverdance will take place in April, and comedy favourite Urzila Carlson returns to ICC Sydney in June.
